Judging the Awards

In the interests of transparency and fairness, it may assist your entry to know how the judges reach their decision.
The judging team is a collection of experts, all pre-eminent in their area of the property field.
Judges are impartial, and award points solely on the basis of the entries, with no value attached to prior reputation or other issues.
For each significant item on the entry forms, each judge will award a score. Please refer to the entry forms for points available for each item.
The judges award the winning entries using their expertise and knowledge of the property industry, using this scoring system. Awards are presented as 5 Star and 4 Star. A maximum of one 5 Star and two 4 Star can be issued per category. A minimum of 75% of the maximum judging points need to be achieved to reach a 5 Star standard. A minimum of 60% of the maximum judging points need to be achieved to reach a 4 Star standard.
The categories below are entered at county level. Up to 5 nominations in each category will be shortlisted for the overall 'Best UK' in each of these categories.

Up to five of the highest scoring national winners, in each category may be nominated for the Best International Awards.
